BAÜP

Palletising Robot

Palletising is an essential task in any factory. This is usually carried out at the end of the production line, however, depending on the industry, the process can be double, since the first depalletising is carried out at the beginning, in order to start palletising the processed goods at the end of the line.

Stacking and de-stacking takes up a considerable amount of time in production activities and involves tasks with very little added value.

In a factory in the wood sector, BAÜP carried out the automation of the material destacking process, optimising the overall performance of the production chain.

SOLUTION

At BAÜP, we integrated a handling robot, which can stack and unstack material on the production line or even outside the production line. Thanks to the ability to be programmed, it easily adapts to almost any need.

This robot goes one step further, as it is equipped with an artifical vision system that recognises the workpiece and its position for perfect gripping. In this way, the correct positioning of the parts is no longer a concern. This system allows palletising different products simultaneously, grouping them on different pallets.

RESULTS

  • Time saving
  • Homogeneity of the load, saving space and facilitating handling.
  • Avoids tasks with little added value
