Overview
Reactive façade installation developed in collaboration with Acierta, combining LiDAR motion tracking, AI processing and large-scale interactive lighting systems.
Objective
Design a kinetic façade system capable of detecting pedestrian movement in real time and translating it into controlled light behavior.
System
A LiDAR-based tracking system captures real-time spatial data, processed through custom software with AI-driven behavior models.
This data controls a façade of 5,000+ individually addressable LEDs, operating as a unified interactive surface.
Execution
Movement is translated into a dynamic colored “shadow” that follows users with spatial precision, combined with autonomous light behaviors evolving continuously in real time.
Technology
Result
A reactive façade system where sensing, processing and light operate as a single responsive layer, turning architecture into an interactive surface driven by human presence.
