Developed in collaboration with Acierta, this project consists of a large-scale reactive façade built from scaffolding panels integrated with over 5,000 individually addressable LEDs.
The system uses a LiDAR sensor installed on a third-floor vantage point to track movement in real time, enabling precise motion detection across the surrounding space. This data is processed through custom software enhanced with AI-driven behavior models, allowing the installation to interpret and respond to human presence dynamically.
As people move nearby, the façade generates a shifting “shadow” in color, translating motion into light. Alongside this reactive layer, autonomous light sequences continuously evolve, combining programmed patterns with real-time interaction.
The result is a responsive system where motion tracking, AI processing and lighting control converge to create a constantly changing visual environment.
