Complete redesign of a SCADA system for FRICOSA, replacing a legacy platform with a modern web-based architecture while keeping operations running. Built with Ignition (Inductive Automation), it includes:

• Web-based architecture for flexible, scalable access
• Redesigned data model and historical data management
• Full UX/UI overhaul for clarity, usability, and efficiency

The project combined control system modernization with interface and data redesign, structuring information flows, ensuring consistent data access, and aligning system behavior with operational needs. UX/UI decisions were integrated into the system architecture.

Challenges included migrating from a system used over 20 years, maintaining reliability, supporting user adaptation to a new interface, and redesigning historical data without losing continuity.

The result is a modern SCADA system, providing structured data access, improved usability, and a scalable web-based control environment while keeping operations stable.
